“For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe.” (Ephesians 1:15-19, NIV)
When we embark on a new journey of faith to learn about the inner healing process of looking at those wounded places, it’s HARD.
I think of it as having a beautiful new pair of shoes that need breaking in. The higher the quality of shoes, the more painful that breaking in period is.
While you are learning, suddenly everything shifts away from your Prayer Minister leading you into repentance. Now that you have decided to dig deeper and understand better how to listen to those other classmates and ministry clients, we pray you will have that Spirit of wisdom and discernment to know Jesus better.

In the shifting season you are in, everything becomes different except Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. They are right there as the Tinity in the middle of all that internal upheaval you are experiencing. Hold on to them, dear ones.
And know unequivocally, that He has called you to participate “in the glorious inheritance of the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe.” Keep reminding yourself that Ephesians 3:18-21 is still true -
“And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high and how deep his love is.” (Ephesians 3:18-21, NLT)
So, when those ‘new shoes’ pinch, and your heart is battered and bruised, remember, dear ones, that to the degree that you can sit in your personal pain and embrace healing through repentance, that is the degree to which you will be able to lead others to healing as well. Your healing is powerful, painful, and primary, but worth every tear. Just know that You are loved and prayed over by those who have learned to sit with pain too.
