OUR MOTIVATION
Too many people labor under the false belief that there are some things that are best left to pastor or prayer ministers to do. We want to shift that so that everyday Christ followers make the biggest impact possible where they are every day, beyond the four walls of a church building.
In this course, we have taken key topics from the Teaching Fellowship Institute School of Ministry and presented them as a three-track equipping opportunity for those who long to be effective in bringing their sphere of influence into right alignment with the plans and purposes of the Kingdom of God.
Whether you are in corporate business, the trades, education, retail, running a community center, coaching a team, or you are super intentional about parenting your kids, serving in your local church, or wherever you have influence, this course is for you!
Our vision for this course is to equip men and women to be great ambassadors for Christ in their everyday lives. In the movie
The Forge (2024), one young man’s life is transformed when he finds himself in the employ of a God-fearing man on a mission not just to make a profit, but to be salt and light in the lives of his employees, partners, business associates, and the greater community.
That is the kind of people we wish to cultivate with The Leadership Life Track!
The Leadership Life Track differs from the School of Ministry in a few ways.
The
School of Ministry (SOM) is for those pursuing an understanding of prayer ministry and counseling, with the goal of becoming competent prayer ministers. SOM Fellows undergo rigorous training and are required to log 200 observation, co-ministry, and lead-minister hours over a two-year timeframe, as well as regular mentorship and small group times with the instructors and peers.
The Leadership Life Track allows you to study at your own pace and apply what you learn in your everyday life. No exams, no practical hours, no small group or mentorship required.
You will likely realize the benefit of booking mentorship sessions with Molly or Dana at an hourly rate as you work through the curriculum (and we encourage it!), but it is not a requirement.
Even though there are no benchmarks to meet or exams to pass, we do want to get to know those who enroll in the course. That is why there is an application process for this course too. It will require a small registration fee, and you will need to book one meet & greet with Molly and Dana as part of your application process.
