It is a heightened awareness to be on alert. It’s also an encouragement about the strength and protection we have in community. He impressed on me that in this hour it is not just about us, but about those around us, in our teams and closest circles. It was a call to be alert. Be aware of what might be affecting those closest to us. No one is perfect. We all have areas of weakness.
Keep watch in front and behind.
Pray for one another.
Watch each other’s backs.
The Lord highlighted that He would get us safely through to the goal line. What He has put in your heart to do, you will do because He is with us. But not to be unwise. The enemy is looking for an opportunity to steal from you.
As the body of Christ, there are no lone rangers. One part cannot exist without the benefit of the others. We are all interconnected and interdependent. When one is successful, we are all successful. When one is hurting it hurts us all. Let us commit to stand together in prayer, move together by the Spirit, and take more territory for the glory of God and the saving of those who wouldn’t otherwise know the love of God.
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. Ephesians 6:10
